About the Company
In 1986 when he was 23 years old, Joseph Akar came to Miami to study business. While he worked on his degree, he operated a small jewelry repair shop to help finance his college education---he was the sole owner and the only employee. By the time he graduated with his business degree in 1990, that small jewelry repair shop had grown into a thriving little jewelry store that now had 3 employees, and many loyal customers. Applying a lifetime of experience and what he learned in business school, Joseph was able to turn that small shop into a wholesale jewelry company --- Accar.
Accar continued to grow and thrive through the 90s, reinventing itself as the market and consumer needs changed. From manufacturing gold to wholesaling diamonds and watches, Accar has stood as a steady beacon in an ever-changing economic climate. By the early 2000s, Joseph’s passion for watches developed into its own subdivision of Accar --- Bezels for Watches. As his fascination with the watch world continued, so did his ideas and innovations, and the result was Chronofy --- a proud culmination of years of expertise and experience. Joseph lives in Miami with his wife of 20 years and their three children. He and his family are firmly rooted in Miami and all participate in many programs aimed at helping the community. We invite you to visit our showroom and meet our wonderful staff, most of whom have been with the company since the 90s.

Our bezels are tube-extruded (not casted) and lathe machined for precision fit for waterproofing. Machine-set diamonds for maximum smooth surface. All measurements, number of diamonds and prongs match factory specifications. Available in: Channel or bead set in alloy, steel, 10k, 14k, 18k white, yellow, or rose gold. Diamonds: Round, baguette, princess and asher cut. We stock hard to find sizes: Lady No-Date, Air King, No-Date Submarine and bezels with step for plastic models, and double cut for newer models.Custom-made orders welcome Over 1000 bezels in stock.
